Here's me and a few elders chilling after transfer meeting.

Here's me and my new companion, Elder Ah-Kuoi.

Sunday, October 6, 2013

My first New Zealand companion, Elder Pearce. We got along so well. Only one transfer together.

The first baptism I performed. Chase Mestdagh. She is awesome!

When you want to take a board for an object lesson and you don't have a car just tie it to your bike with plastic bags.

We went on exchanges with the zone leaders and I went to their area. This is an awesome sign a member in their ward had on the door.

A really cool photo taken in Frankston. When you look just under the power line you see the Melbourne City sky line.

The Elders of Braeside zone at zone meeting.

The Braeside zone at zone meeting.

My fifth companion in the field, Elder Jolley. He's from Shelley, Idaho. He wouldn't smile for the photo.

Elder Nyanhamo and me. This guy is a wizard at cooking chicken.

The Elders of the Braeside zone. Haha

Braeside Zone, zone P-day! Missionaries from Australia, New Zealand, Vanuatu, Tahiti, Africa, England and America.

Me and Elder Villierme at the mission offiice saying goodbye. He's a great man!

Elder Villierme and me with the "Boomerang man" Anthony Sanders. This guy is really cool. He made all the things we're holding in the photo. Boomerangs and didgeridoos. He does all the aboriginal art.

Here's the staple that pwned me while riding my bike. Elder Villierme thought this was really funny.

The sign in this photo tells the story.

My new companion, Elder Nyanhamo, from Bindura, Zimbabwe, Africa. He's a cool guy and he cooks really tasty chicken.

Mom here's one thing I ate while in Hobart. Any guesses? It's a pig's foot. Oh yeah!

The red-back spider here in Australia is similar to a black widow I suppose. Definitely avoid them.

Managed to find my favorite trees at the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens.

This was when I burned a tie at my six month mark.

A really good pizza Elder Villierme and I made from scratch. Dad you will love this!

Representing the Aggies on a cold morning in Bairnsdale.

This was a fun night when we had an exchange with the Elders serving in Moe. After many attempts we finally got a photo with us all in the air.

A hilarious Aussie slang sign. Aussies always say "no worries".

On a Saturday evening doing yard work for an investigator in Bairnsdale. With a pretty nice Aussie sunset.

Elder Villierme thought it would be funny to take a photo of me with my first flat tire on my mission. A massive staple went right through the tire and tube.

Well I'm having trouble uploading photos but here's us with the YSA on my last Sunday in Hobart!

Me and Elder Aroita made these photo collages as gifts for a couple in our ward. It's photo's of things from our homes. I put Buck because they have a Chocolate lab and I always tell them about Buck.

This is us with Matthew Hoori, a member in our ward. He is awesome! He always wants to act out gospel principles. Last week we acted out the Plan of Salvation. It is a cool way to gain perspective.

This photo is mostly for Riley to see. This is me holding a young Huntsman spider. They normally get a lot bigger than that. This is the first one I have seen though.

These three elders from our stake are going on their missions soon. This was at their combined farewell party. On the left is James Docking. He's from the Rosny ward and he's going to the South Dakota, Rapid City mission. Chris Reed is in the middle. He's in our ward, Hobart. He's one of our best friends and he's going to Johannesburg, South Africa. Josh Smith, the massive one, is also in our ward and our good friend. He's the stake president's son and this photo is at their house. His mom grew up in Bountiful, Utah. She served her mission in Brisbane and met President Smith there. They got married and stayed here in Tasmania. And now Josh is going to the same mission as both his parents: Brisbane, Australia. Also in this photo Elder Aroita and Josh look pretty funny. And I look pretty small.

Here's a photo of me eating a vegemite sandwich!

An ok photo of the Tasman Bridge. I'll get a better one.

I found this shirt at K-mart.

Mags here's one of my inventions. Ground beef, potatoes, onions, peas, corn and green beans. Stir fried in soy sauce, extra hot chilli sauce and some curry powder. Eaten over rice. Yikes! :)

Here's a photo from last P-day. The Sayers family took us to some of the tourist sites in southern Tasmania on the Tasman penninsula.

Here's a news page of that day I was talking about. It was ridiculously hot because it's humid too.

This is a funny shirt I got last p-day for $8

Ashley this photo is for you. Apparently "Hot Cross Buns" is actually a real food not just a catchy tune. :)

This is a Cantonese restaurant where Roy, the Chinese recent convert who I talked about on Christmas, works. He paid for us to eat there with him on Saturday. It was really good!

P-Day 28 January 2013

Third baptism, Matilda Holstein, baptized by her home teacher Josh Smith in Hobart ward. 19 years old. Josh just got his call to serve in Brisbane, Australia. Both his parents served there.
